Volunteer Information for Grade Representative
The yearbook captures memories from your child's time in elementary school and will be looked back on for years to come. We would like to find a representative from each grade (or better yet, each class) to help with the organization process of preparing the yearbook to be designed.
Each Grade Representative would ensure we have photos of EVERY child in the grade. We would need at least 2 nice face shoots of each child and various photos from classroom parties, school events, etc. We would need them to be handed in on a flash drive sorted into folders, by classroom, child, school event, etc. You would not be responsible for taking all the photos. The classroom captains can assign a photographer for each classroom party. It will just be your responsibility to follow up with each photographer and collect the photos. We also ask for photos from parents in general and we have an email address set up to send those photos to.
We will also need someone to collect yearbook orders and keep track of who has paid and how many books they ordered. Sometimes parents send in one check and they are ordering books for several children across multiple grades. Other times we have split households and parents order multiple copies of books for the same child.
Building the Yearbook
For those of you interested in helping to build the yearbook. Our yearbook is a digital file. We use a company called Lifetouch. They have a website were we upload our photos and create the pages using templates. Basic computer literacy and a home computer are needed. Our Lifetouch representative can give us a training session or I can do informal training if anyone is interested.
If your new to Worrrall and would like to see a copy of the yearbook, please stop in and ask Mrs. Talley.
